This is Indra, a migrant worker from Madhya Pradesh. When the lockdown began, she set out on an arduous 650+ km journey from Pokhran to her home in Ratlam.

Mid-way through the journey, she found respite at Maheswari Seva Sadan – a shelter home in Nathdwara where Akshaya Patra has been serving freshly cooked lunch & dinner since April 6th.

With a roof overhead and food that would nourish; Indra, an 8-month pregnant mother-to-be, finally found hope in the midst of chaos.

Yesterday, the Government arranged her transport to Ratlam.🙏🏻
