LAHS Gwalior Students spend a day with Girls with Visual Impairment on World Disability Day

WORLD DISABILITY DAY

LAHS Gwalior always strives to engage students in Kind deeds and Social Service Activities.

The students of Grade 2 – LAHS Junior Wing visited ‘Atma Jyoti’ Blind School and observed the ‘World Disablity Day’ along with the Visually impaired Girls. Our students enjoyed chanting prayers and singing songs with them. They gifted them hand made flowers and served them fruits and had a wonderful time .
Most importantly they realized how blessed they are as God has gifted them with sight so they can see and enjoy their beautiful life.

Earlier, the students from Atma Jyoti Blind School were also invited to celebrate Childrens Day with our students .

Various games such as Antakshari, 1 minute balloon bursting game, Musical Chair Race etc were conducted for the visually impaired girls in coordination with the Teachers and LAHS student volunteers .

Prizes were given to the winners of the games followed by  refreshments and a small token of love to all.
